What is the buyer-protection fee?

It's a small fee — currently 10% of the item price, with a minimum of AED 25 and a cap of AED 1,500 per item — paid by the buyer on top of the seller's price. It funds buyer protection: escrow, secure payment processing, dispute resolution, fraud protection, and customer support.

It does NOT come out of the seller's side: the seller keeps 100% of the price they set. So a AED 2,000 piece breaks down for the buyer as: price AED 2,000 → buyer-protection fee AED 200 → delivery a flat AED 25. The seller receives AED 2,000; the fee and delivery are paid by the buyer on top of the price.

There's no deposit and no hidden charges — a single, one-time payment.
