How do you handle authenticity?

Every luxury listing (Hermès, Chanel, Cartier, Rolex, etc.) can be authenticated before it goes live — by a third-party specialist with human experts and machine-vision tooling. Non-luxury pieces use seller attestation plus our standard SNAD protection.

If a buyer suspects counterfeit after delivery, file a SNAD claim within 24 hours. We route the piece to a third-party authentication check — and the money stays frozen in escrow while it runs, so there's no race against the clock. A counterfeit finding is a full refund to the buyer, the listing is removed, and the seller's account is flagged for review. We never charge the buyer the return shipping on a counterfeit finding.

To be clear, an authentication check is an arranged third-party process, not a Lebsloop guarantee of authenticity — it raises confidence in a piece, it doesn't make us the warrantor.
