Shipping & Delivery Policy
How items get to you
Lebsloop arranges delivery through an appointed courier partner — we coordinate the collection from the seller and the delivery to you, but we are not the carrier ourselves. Every order is delivered (there is no self-collection or in-person pickup). This policy covers the delivery fee, how each handover works, timelines, who carries the risk in transit, and when the delivery fee is refundable. It applies alongside the [Buyer Agreement](buyer-agreement), the [Seller Agreement](seller-agreement), the [Fees Policy](fees-policy), and the [Trust & Safety Policy](trust-safety).
1. How delivery is handled
Lebsloop arranges delivery through an appointed courier partner. We coordinate the whole handover — booking the collection from the seller and the delivery to you — but the courier is the carrier: Lebsloop does not itself transport, sort, or hold items. As we grow we may add our own delivery capacity, but at launch every delivery runs through our courier partner.
Coverage spans all seven emirates of the UAE through our courier partner's network; delivery times available may vary by emirate. Every order is delivered to the buyer's address — there is no self-collection or in-person pickup option.
2. The delivery fee
The delivery fee is a flat AED 25 per seller, set by Lebsloop and paid by the buyer at checkout. It covers courier collection from the seller and delivery to your address — it goes to Lebsloop (which pays the courier), not to the seller. The seller does not set it and does not receive it; it is not a pass-through. There is one delivery per seller; if you buy from more than one seller, each seller's parcel is AED 25. The exact amount is always shown before you pay — no delivery cost is ever added afterwards. Current rates are in the Fees Policy.
3. One-way resale delivery
A resale purchase needs one delivery leg: the item out to you. Because the sale is final and title passes to you on delivery, there is no return leg to charge unless a dispute is upheld (see the Fees Policy for who bears return shipping in that case).
4. How a handover works
When a purchase is confirmed and paid, we book the courier to handle the handover end to end:
- We schedule a collection window with the seller, and the courier collects the item from their door.
- The courier delivers the item to the buyer within the agreed window.
The courier transports the item only — it does not inspect or assess it. The evidence behind every dispute is the buyer's photos taken on receipt and filed with the claim, alongside the listing photos (full rules in the Trust & Safety Policy). To protect that chain, the package is sealed with a Lebsloop tamper-evident seal at collection: the seller seals it in person, and the buyer should check the seal is intact before opening — a broken or tampered seal is grounds to raise a dispute.
5. Getting the item to the courier (seller obligations)
When your item sells, get it ready and be available for the courier in your scheduled window. The item must match the listing exactly — clean, complete (every accessory, tag, or dust bag shown), and in the condition you described and photographed.
If the condition changed since you listed it, tell the buyer and our support before collection — the buyer can then accept, renegotiate, or cancel. Handing over an item materially worse than the listing is a SNAD: the buyer is refunded, and the at-fault costs in the Fees Policy fall on you.
Arrange collection within 5 business days of the sale. If you do not, the buyer can cancel for a full refund, and we cancel the order automatically after 7 days — at which point the buyer's payment hold is released. Repeated failures to dispatch may pause your selling.
6. Delivery timelines
Standard delivery typically arrives within 2–3 days, depending on when you order and courier availability. Cross-emirate deliveries can take longer — please allow extra time and order ahead when your item is needed for a specific date. Timelines are estimates, not guarantees; traffic, weather, and peak demand can shift them.
7. When the delivery fee is refundable
Before the courier is dispatched, if an order is cancelled, the delivery fee is refunded as part of the cancellation. Once the courier has been dispatched, the delivery fee is non-refundable — the trip has been booked and run, and that cost is real whatever happens next.
Fault flips who bears the delivery and return cost. If a resale item is Significantly Not As Described (SNAD), an approved claim refunds the buyer in full including the delivery fee, and the seller (at fault) bears the return shipping. The full rules are in the Fees Policy and the Buyer Agreement.
8. Failed delivery and unavailable recipients
Please be reachable during your agreed delivery window. If the courier arrives and you are unavailable, cannot be reached, or the address is wrong, it will attempt to leave the parcel with a concierge or arrange a second attempt. A redelivery caused by an incorrect address or a missed window carries a redelivery fee charged to the buyer, since it is a second trip. Your 24-hour report window begins from delivery confirmation, even if the parcel was left with a concierge or at your door as agreed.
9. Who carries the risk in transit
Because Lebsloop is not the carrier, the risk of loss or damage in transit rests with the seller until the item is delivered to the buyer. As a buyer you always come first: if an item is lost or damaged in transit, you are refunded in full.
Behind that refund, the seller carries the transit loss — they do not receive payment for that sale, and may claim against the courier (which is liable for the parcel) or against any optional shipping insurance they bought. Lebsloop coordinates the courier and helps with the claim, but does not cover transit losses itself. The Lebsloop tamper-evident seal and the buyer's receipt photos are what show whether damage happened in transit (seal intact on arrival) or before it (seal broken, or a pre-existing fault).
10. Held and unclaimed items
If we cannot deliver after reasonable attempts and the buyer does not give a valid alternative address, we hold the item and notify both sides. For 30 days, the buyer can arrange redelivery (a redelivery fee applies) or the seller can ask for it back (a return fee applies).
If neither side acts within 30 days, Lebsloop may relist or dispose of the item at its discretion. An item left unclaimed for 6 months becomes Lebsloop's to donate, dispose of, or sell.
11. Coverage, holidays, and peak periods
We deliver across all seven emirates through our courier partner's network. On public holidays, during Ramadan hours, and over high-demand occasion periods (such as Eid and the wedding season), deliveries may take longer than usual. Delivery estimates are shown before you pay; during those periods they may be longer than usual.
