LegalSeller Agreement

Version 1.4.0 · In force 2026-06-20

Seller Agreement

What you agree to when you sell a pre-loved item on Lebsloop

This Seller Agreement sets out your obligations when you sell a pre-loved item on Lebsloop. It sits alongside the general [Terms of Service](terms-of-service) and the [Privacy Policy](privacy-policy) — read all three. Listing an item for sale means you accept this Agreement.

1. Scope

This Agreement covers selling your pre-loved fashion items outright on Lebsloop — that is, transferring ownership to a buyer for a price you set. Where this Agreement is silent, the Terms of Service apply.

2. Eligibility and ownership

To sell on Lebsloop you must be 18 or older, a UAE resident, and verify your identity (via UAE Pass or an Emirates ID scan) — verification is required to list your items and before any payout. To receive payouts you also provide a bank account (IBAN) in your own legal name. You must own the item outright and have the full legal right to sell it — you cannot sell items you lease, borrow, have reported stolen, or do not actually own.

You set your own price — there is no minimum or maximum, so price your piece at whatever you think is fair. Items must meet our condition and brand-acceptance standards, and they must not be on the prohibited list. The full list of what cannot be sold lives in the Prohibited Items Policy: no counterfeits, no replicas, and no items you do not legally own.

3. Authenticity and counterfeits

You warrant that every item you list for sale is genuine — the real product of the brand stated — and that you own it and have the right to sell it. Misrepresenting a brand, or selling a fake as the real thing, is a serious breach of this Agreement.

Selling counterfeit goods is illegal in the UAE. A counterfeit listing is removed immediately, the buyer is fully refunded, your account is suspended, and Lebsloop may report the matter to the UAE Ministry of Economy, to the brand's representative in the UAE, and to law enforcement. See the Prohibited Items Policy.

For luxury items, you must provide proof of authentication when you list — receipts, authenticity cards, serial details, or a recognised authentication certificate. If that proof is absent, Lebsloop may arrange a third-party authentication check after the sale and before delivery. Lebsloop relays the documentation you provide and arranges the third-party checks described here; it does not itself give an absolute authenticity guarantee beyond those stated checks. The underlying warranty that the item is genuine remains yours.

4. Lebsloop as your disclosed agent

Lebsloop acts as your disclosed agent. You are the principal seller and supplier of the item; we sell it on your behalf and provide the marketplace, payments facilitation, delivery, and dispute services. The listing and the buyer's receipt disclose the item as supplied by you.

Lebsloop never takes title to your item and never sets your price — you set the price, and the sale contract for the item is between you and the buyer. We do not buy your item from you and resell it; we facilitate a sale you make to the buyer.

5. Pricing and fees

You set the sale price, and you keep 100% of the price you set. Lebsloop does not deduct a commission from your sale price on resale.

If you choose to accept offers, a buyer can offer at least 70% of your asking price (an offer at or above it is a Buy now). You can accept, counter, or decline, and you and the buyer can counter back and forth; an offer expires after 48 hours if no one acts, and we remind the party whose turn it is before it lapses. An offer moves no money — when you accept, it creates an order the buyer pays for at checkout, and your payout is based on the price agreed there.

Lebsloop's revenue comes from the buyer side: the buyer pays a Buyer-Protection fee of 10% of the sale price, minimum AED 25, maximum AED 1,500. This fee is paid by the buyer on top of the price, not taken out of your proceeds. The buyer also pays a delivery fee where delivery applies — see the Shipping & Delivery Policy.

UAE VAT (5%) is not charged today. Lebsloop is not yet VAT-registered (it is below the AED 375,000 registration threshold), so no VAT is added or shown. Once Lebsloop is VAT-registered, VAT will apply only to Lebsloop's own fee as a disclosed agent — never to the full value of your item. See the Terms of Service.

6. Title transfer

Title to the item passes from you to the buyer on delivery acceptance — when the buyer receives the item and the handover is completed. Until then, the item remains yours. Once title has passed, the sale is complete, subject only to the returns rules in Section 8.

7. Payout

Money is held securely in escrow through Lebsloop's payment provider. After the buyer receives the item, a 48-hour check window runs; if no eligible claim is raised, your earnings are released to your Lebsloop balance. You then withdraw them to the UAE bank account (IBAN) registered on your account — identity verification is required before any withdrawal. Bank settlement typically takes 1–3 business days after a withdrawal.

The IBAN must be in your verified legal name — payouts to third-party accounts are not supported and will be blocked. Funds are held with Lebsloop's licensed payment partner; your released earnings sit in your Lebsloop balance until you withdraw them.

8. Returns you must accept

Resale purchases are final sale — buyers cannot return an item simply because they changed their mind. There is one exception: an item that is Significantly Not As Described (SNAD).

A SNAD claim means the item materially differs from your listing — for example undisclosed damage or stains, the wrong colour or style, or missing components such as authenticity cards. The buyer must report it with photos within the handover report window of 24 hours. If a SNAD claim is approved, the buyer receives a full refund — including the Buyer-Protection fee — and returns the item to you at no cost to them. As the seller at fault, you bear the return shipping, the refunded Buyer-Protection fee, and any payment-processing cost, recovered by set-off from your held funds, future payouts, or direct invoice (see the Fees Policy). "No photo proof = no platform intervention" — see the Trust & Safety Policy.

Misrepresenting an item — wrong brand, undisclosed damage, hidden defects, or missing components — can result in an approved SNAD refund, removal of your listings, suspension, and forfeiture of pending payouts. Repeat offences lead to account closure.

9. Delivery

Delivery is arranged by Lebsloop through an appointed courier partner — Lebsloop coordinates the handover but is not the carrier. The courier collects the item from you at a scheduled time and delivers it to the buyer; it transports the item only and does not inspect it. If the buyer receives an item that does not match the listing, the photos the buyer files with a claim within 24 hours of delivery are the evidence baseline for any dispute. You are free to keep your own photos of the item's condition before dispatch.

Resale purchases are charged a one-way delivery fee of a flat AED 25 per seller (one delivery per seller; if the buyer buys from more than one seller, each seller's parcel is AED 25), paid by the buyer at checkout — there is no pickup-only option. The delivery fee goes to Lebsloop (which pays the courier); it is the platform's, not a pass-through to you, and it does not come out of your proceeds. You do not set it and do not receive it. For the full rules and zones, see the Shipping & Delivery Policy.

Risk in transit is yours. Because Lebsloop is not the carrier, the risk of loss or damage in transit stays with you until the item is delivered to the buyer. If an item is lost or damaged in transit, the buyer is refunded and you are not paid for that sale; you may claim against the courier (which is liable for the parcel) or against any optional shipping insurance you bought. Sealing the package with the Lebsloop tamper-evident seal is what protects you here.

10. Item quality and condition

Ensure the item is clean and free of any defects (tears, scratches, stains) before sale. Lebsloop does not charge a cleaning fee. We recommend keeping your own photos of the item's condition before dispatch. If the item the buyer receives is dirty, defective, or otherwise not matching your listing, the sale may be treated as Significantly Not As Described under Section 8, and the at-fault costs in the Fees Policy fall on you.

11. Your obligations

12. Your seller account

You sell with one Lebsloop account — the same one you would use to buy. Hold only one account; duplicates may be suspended. Keep your details and payout account accurate and your login private, and tell us at once if you think someone else has accessed your account. If you sell on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to bind that business to this Agreement.

If you will be unavailable to fulfil orders (travel, holidays), pause your listings or stop accepting offers so you do not leave a buyer waiting. You can close your account from Settings once your open orders are completed or cancelled; we may keep some records as required by law (see the Privacy Policy).

13. Listing rules

Every listing must be honest and your own. Use real photos of the actual item (no stock images), describe the brand, size, colour, material, and true condition using the condition scale, and disclose every mark, repair, missing part, or alteration. Only list items you own outright and have the right to sell, from a brand on our accepted list — see the Prohibited Items Policy for what can never be listed.

You can withdraw a listing any time before a buyer purchases it; once an item sells you are committed to completing that sale. We may hide, edit, or remove a listing that breaks these terms, is inaccurate or misleading, or risks buyers or the platform — and we will tell you why where we can.

14. How a buyer dispute works

A buyer has 24 hours after delivery to raise a covered claim (not as described, counterfeit, damaged, or never delivered) with photos. Here is what it means for you:

  1. You are notified and have 48 hours to respond with your side and your evidence.
  2. You and the buyer have up to 7 days to resolve it in the in-app chat; from day 7 either of you can escalate to our support team.
  3. We review the listing, both sides' evidence, and your messages, and decide. Our decision after escalation is final, save where the law says otherwise.
  4. If the claim is upheld and it is your fault (SNAD, counterfeit, condition), the buyer is refunded in full and you bear the at-fault costs in the Fees Policy — return shipping, the refunded Buyer-Protection fee, and any handling fee, recovered by set-off. If the claim is rejected, the sale completes and you are paid.

While a dispute or authenticity check is open, your funds for that sale stay in escrow. We may also hold funds longer where there is a suspected counterfeit, fraud, a chargeback, or an investigation — we will tell you why where we can.

15. Payouts, set-off, and chargebacks

You keep 100% of your sale price (section 5). Your earnings are released to your Lebsloop balance after the post-delivery check window (section 7), and you withdraw them to your IBAN. We may deduct from your held funds or future payouts — or invoice you — any amount you owe us: a refund on a buyer-favourable claim, return shipping or a handling fee where you are at fault, a failed-authentication cost, a chargeback, or a penalty for breaking these terms.

If a buyer reverses a payment with their bank (a chargeback) after you have been paid, we may recover it from your future payouts or by invoice; please help us contest it with any evidence we ask for. You are responsible for your own taxes on what you earn — we do not withhold tax for you (see section 5 and the Fees Policy).

16. Your indemnity

Because you are the principal seller and supplier of every item you list (Section 4), you are responsible for the legal consequences of what you sell. You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Lebsloop, its affiliates, and its staff against any third-party claim, demand, investigation, fine, penalty, seizure, or loss — including reasonable legal costs and any irrecoverable tax — that arises from an item you list or sell, where that item or your listing of it: (a) is counterfeit, a replica, or otherwise infringes a trademark, copyright, design right, or other intellectual-property right; (b) is misdescribed as to brand, authenticity, origin, condition, or materials; (c) is stolen, not owned by you, or one you had no right to sell; or (d) breaches the Prohibited Items Policy, UAE customs or anti-commercial-fraud law, or UAE consumer-protection law.

This indemnity covers claims brought by a brand owner or its representative, a rights-holder, another user, or a UAE authority — including the Ministry of Economy, the Dubai or Abu Dhabi economic department, and Customs. Where Lebsloop is required by UAE consumer-protection law to refund or compensate a buyer for an item that is counterfeit or significantly not as described, the cost of doing so — the refund, the Buyer-Protection fee, return shipping, any handling or authentication fee, and any payment-reversal cost — is a loss you indemnify, recovered as set out in Sections 8 and 15 (set-off from held funds, future payouts, or direct invoice).

This indemnity does not require you to pay any amount that the law does not allow to be passed to you, and it does not reduce or replace any right a buyer has as a consumer under UAE law — those rights are honoured by Lebsloop first and then recovered from you under this Section. The indemnity survives the closure of your account for claims arising from items you sold while it was open.

Selling a counterfeit, a replica, or an item you do not own is not only a breach of this Agreement — it is a criminal offence in the UAE under the Trademarks Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 36 of 2021), the Copyright Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 38 of 2021), and the Anti-Commercial-Fraud Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 42 of 2023). You, not Lebsloop, bear that liability, and Lebsloop will cooperate with brand owners and UAE authorities as set out in the Prohibited Items Policy.

17. Account suspension

We may restrict, suspend, or close your account if you break these terms or the law — for example: listing counterfeits or items you do not own, repeatedly misdescribing items, failing to dispatch, harassing or threatening buyers or our team, trying to take deals off-platform, or any unlawful use. A confirmed seller-fault issue can also strip your Trusted status. Where we can, we will tell you why.
